The Texas Real Estate Commission requires certain classes to be completed before a person can sit for the State license exam.

For a sales person's license you must 210* classroom hours of acceptable credit (a 3 hour college class equals 45 classroom hours).

The required classes are:
At least 60 "core" hours in Principles of Real Estate

At least 30 "core" hours in Law of Agency.

At least 30 "core" hours in Law of Contracts.

At least 30 "core" hours in an approved real estate core topic.

The balance of the 210 hours can be additional "core"  hours or acceptable college classes.  The Texas Real Estate Commission will need to evaluate your education to determine which classes are acceptable.
